He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Leven and Flossie Sauls Causey; his son Jan Scott Causey; his stepdaughter Donna Payne Poff; his sister Carolyn Scoby; and his former wife Kitty Kelly Walker.
He is survived by: his wife Bettie Sikes Causey of Macon; his children, Vann Causey (Judy) of Cumming, Chris Causey (Dawn) of Cumming, Georgia, Craig Payne of Juliette, Joette Strickland Bell of Macon, Lee Strickland Woolbright (John) of Columbus and Todd Strickland of Macon; his children-in-law, Wendy Causey, Miki Fluker and Tim Poff; and his grandchildren, Elizabeth Causey, Blake Causey (Eric), Levin Causey, Summer Causey Williams (Joe), Jan Scott Causey Jr., Sarah Beth Causey Hollowed (Jimmy), Sanders Poff, Brittany Payne Cole (John), Brooklyn Payne Shelton (Luke), Taylor Payne Lord (Eric), Matthew Bell (Robyn), Michael Bell, Jack Woolbright, Amanda Woolbright, Joshua Woolbright and Eden Strickland. He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren.
