She was predeceased by: her husbands, James Marvin Vaughn, Sr. and Robert Wallace Watson; her son James Marvin Vaughn, Jr.; her grandson Richard Wayne "Duke" Vaughn; her brothers, Thomas Farrell Taylor, Sr. and Frank Wayne Taylor; and her parents, Marvin Taylor and Annie Pleasants Taylor.
She is survived by: her son Thomas L. Vaughn (Diane); her stepchildren, Alan Watson, Kathy Baggett (Gary) and Diane Landers; her grandchildren, Taylor Sutton (Jason), Jennifer Vaughn and Jamey Vaughn; and her sibling's children, Connie Merrill and Tommy Taylor. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Chapel of Gray Memorial Chapel (4378 Gray Hwy, Gray, GA 31032). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
