With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jack O'Hara Grant Jr. (Macon, Georgia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 16, 2026 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack O'Hara Grant, Sr. and Virginia Thigpen. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Welton; his grandchildren, Tim Grant, Tom Grant (Kay) and Kelly Grant Marrero (Gabriel); his stepdaughters, Elizabeth Shelby Baldwin (Steven) and Stephanie Shelby Williams (Ricky); his sister Carolyn Grant Smothers (Tom); and his grandchildren, Courtney Grant, Brittany Grant, Thomas Philbrick, Tim Seipler, Leigh Philbrick Alvarez, Katie Baldwin, Chandler Baldwin, Savannah Williams Binkley, Jackson Williams and Mishay Bingham. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
