He was predeceased by: his parents, William Frank Broome Sr. of Concord, N. C and Lexie Owens Broome of Concord, N. C; his wife Betty Moose Broome; and his brothers, Badge, Reese, Horace and Donald Broome.
He is survived by: his children, Kevin Lamar Broome (Kelly) of Kannapolis, NC and Tanya Broome Edge (Wesley) of Macon; his daughter-in-law Colleen Broome; his grandchildren, Sarah Broome Whitlow (David) of Concord, NC, Phillip James Broome (Brittney) of Concord, NC, Anneliese Edge Reagan (Wesley) of Macon and James Wesley Lowery Edge of Macon; and his caregiver Meme Clowers. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
