He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Dorsey Underwood and Effie Mae Souther Underwood. He is survived by: his wife Linda Neal Stanley of Marshallville; his children, Rob Stanley of Perry, Eric Stanley (Amanda) of Raleigh, NC, Brad Stanley (April) of Perry, Brian Eddins of Marshallville and Cathryn Bland (Guy) of Luray, SC; and his pet Maggie. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two sisters; a brother; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
