He was predeceased by: his father James A. Hunter; and his brother Gregory V. Hunter. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn J. Hunter; his daughters, LaKeisha Nelson (Dustin) and Nichole Richardson (Mark); his mother Estella K. Hunter; his siblings, Michael Hunter (Adrienne) and Patricia Y. Hunter; and his mother-in-law Foustine Childs. He is also survived by five grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Richard R. Robinson Funeral Home Eastside Chapel (2550 Shurling Dr, Macon, GA 31211). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Bethel Cme Church (1668 Pio Nono Ave, Macon, GA 31204). A burial will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at the Middle Georgia Memory Gardens Cemetery (3225 Joycliff Rd, Macon, GA 31211).
