He was predeceased by: his parents, Doris Grantham and Charles Grantham; and his siblings, Charles Grantham, Kathleen Mimbs, Marjorie Stevens (Joe), Sarah Bragg (Bill), Merrell Hall (Oliver) and Carolyn Holder (Lathrop).
He is survived by: his children, Tonia Dry (Richard) and Wesley Grantham; and his grandchildren, Madelyn Dry and Alexander Dry. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Fairhaven Funeral Home (4989 Mt Pleasant Church Rd, Macon, GA 31216). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the donor's favorite charity in memory of James.
