James and Zai'Mir Pleas; his daughter Cynthia Pleas; and his siblings, Marie McLean (Louise Veal), Vivian Boston, Elaine Boyer, Willie Frank Johnson Jr., Diane Johnson, Wynonina Johnson and Jerome Johnson Sr.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
