He was predeceased by: his parents, Green Daniel and Latha Inez Wright Mimbs; his wife Martha Mimbs; and his daughter Deborah Ann Smith. He is survived by: his daughters, Bonita Yvonne Peavy (Lester) and Sharon Elizabeth Bromley (Stewart); his son-in-law Steve Smith; his grandchildren, Lee Burge (Brandy), Dee Dee Shipp (Josh), Ricky Peavy (Kristi), Sara Bromley Pulliam (John) and Samuel Rexford Bromley; and his close friend Sadie Hall. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
