He was predeceased by: his parents, Hershel Lovelace Puckett and Sylvia Kessinger Puckett; and his siblings, Rebecca Young and Steven Puckett. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Woodruff Puckett of Macon; his children, Jennifer Kay Rayhill of Macon and Michael Puckett (Christy) of Oxford, Georgia; his grandchildren, Alex Puckett, Matthew Puckett, Carson Puckett and Joy Alcarez (Austin); his great grandchild Aurora Rose "Rosie" Alcarez; and his nieces and nephews, Scott Young (Sasha), Dale Young (Sheila), Alisa Stinson and Kellie Nance.
