With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Virgil Turner Jr. in Macon, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 31, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, James Virgil shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid James Virgil farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Logan Mulligan (Pat) of Massachusetts, Max Turner (Akari) of Kanazawa, Ishikawa, Taylor Turner (Claire) and Alicia; and his great grandchildren, Collins, William Mulligan, JT Cole, Emma, Leo, Roy Turner, Lillian, Harlow Turner and Josephine Eppley.
