It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jane Hawkins Walker of Macon, Georgia, who passed away on October 23, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence H. and Selma C. Hawkins of Macon. She is survived by: her children, Billy Ware Walker, Jr. and Laura Lei Walker Knight (Robbie) of McRae; her grandchildren, Brannon Walker Knight (Katie) of Eastman and Brice Knight Nelms (Dylan) of Hazlehurst; her great grandchildren, Robert Pierce Knight, Norah Lei Knight of Eastman, Rise Lei Nelms, Reid Laura Nelms, Raen Lottie Nelms and Knight Carver Nelms of Hazlehurst; and her siblings, Mary Ann Collins (Norman) of Roswell and Ashley Hawkins (Kris) of Forsyth, Georgia. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the McRae Methodist Church (201 W College St, McRae-Helena, GA 31055). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
