She was predeceased by: her parents, John Preston and Maggie Mae Fuller Yawn; and her sister Delia Yawn Clemo. She is survived by: her children, Jena Lynn Kennedy (Byron Wells) and Joel Lane Kennedy (Dawn); her husband Kenneth Kennedy; her grandchildren, Preston Kennedy, Ben Kennedy, Erin Wells (Andrew Smith), Justin Mullen (Valerie Avallone) and Mark Wells (Lizzie); her great grandchildren, Matt Smith, Tyler Smith, Connor Smith and Peyton Smith; and her sister Nancy Simmons (Bobby).
