He is survived by: his wife Jarnetta Hand Butler; his children, Carlo Ransom, Mac Ransom, Amir Butler, Shana Boyd, Khaliah Jenkins (Micheal), Jamella Hall, Najla Hall and Shaheed Butler; his siblings, Marvin Butler (Denise) and Sheila Butler-Teal; his father-in-law James Mitchell; his brother-in-law Martes Hand (Crystal); his niece Swan Butler; his nephew DeCanta Butler; his cousin Deryel Robinson; and his mother-in-law Bertha Mitchell. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren.

A funeral service was held on Wednesday, August 26th 2026 at 2:00 PM at 3077 Pio Nono Ave, Macon, GA 31206.
