It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jeffrey Eugene Yates of Macon, Georgia, who passed away on January 14, 2024, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He is survived by: his daughters, Kailee Yates Merrell (Josh) of Macon, Kaicee Yates Mills (Dillon) of Virginia Beach, Karlee Shai Yates of Macon and Karsyn Grace Yates of Macon, Georgia; his grandchildren, Layton, Lawson, Lexton, Grayson and Everly Grace; the mother of his children Tracey Yates of Macon, Georgia; and his siblings, Teresa Tompkins of Byron, Georgia, Rhonda Smith of Byron, Georgia and Jack "Smokey" Yates, Jr. (Stephanie) of Macon, Georgia. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Karlee's and Karsyn's college fund, reach out to the family for additional information.
