As Jessie departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Jessie. Though Jessie may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Ja'shun Flowers, Te'quesa Flowers and Ashley Knight; her siblings, Thelma Battle, Josie Wimberly (Roy, Sr.), Lathonia Hardy and Samuel Norwood, Jr. (Donnette); and her brother-in-law Rev. Robert Simmons. She is also survived by nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends.
