It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jimmy McCallum of Macon, Georgia, who passed away on June 21, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jimmy McCallum to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Dever McCallum, Sr. and Catherine Mae Hightower McCallum; and his siblings, Virgil McCallum, Jr., Donald McCallum and Vickie Mishoe.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Mullis McCallum of Forsyth; his children, Hope Leatherwood (Cliff) of Woodstock, Georgia, Melissa Mullis of Inman and Wesley Mullis (Lena) of Lancaster, Pennsylvania; his grandchildren, Bryce McCallum Leatherwood of Nashville, Lance Stokes Leatherwood of Woodstock, Georgia, Lauren Wertman (Dillon) of Marietta, Anna Brook Mullis of Lancaster, Megan Elaine Mullis of Lancaster and David Mullis of Lancaster, Pennsylvania; and his siblings, Cathy Jones (Richard), Brenda Veronee (Larry), Linda Malone (Steve) and Preston McCallum (Susan). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hart's Mortuary (6324 Peake Rd, Macon, GA 31210). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at the Macon Memorial Park Cemetery (3969 Mercer University Dr, Macon, GA 31204).
