She was predeceased by : her husband Darrel Ray Stephens; her son-in-law Wayne Avery (Kim); her parents, Noel Lemons and Mary Lemons; and her siblings, Louise (Vernon Wallace), Estelle (Phil Warren), Ruth (Wally Boyd) and Noel (Meta Lemons, Jr.).

She is survived by : her siblings, Betty Hadoulis of Baltimore, MD and Robert Lemons (Sandra) of Columbus, GA; her children, Douglas Stephens of Macon, Norman Stephens (Pam) of Floyds Knobs, IN, Alan Stephens (Debbie) of Nashville, TN and Kimberly Avery of Byron, GA; her grandsons, Christopher Stephens (Jamie) of Nashville, TN and Kevin Stephens (Jonna); and her great grandchildren, Naleigh of Nashville, TN, Cal of Nashville, TN and Elyse Stephens (Jeff) of Floyds Knobs, IN..
