She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Warren Snipes and Doris Jolly Snipes; her husband John Gilbert Dees, Sr.; and her brother Jimmy Snipes. She is survived by: her children, John Gilbert Dees, Jr. (Deborah), Andrea Bone (Harold) and Jeff Dees (Pamela); her grandchildren, Jennifer Marie Nation, Joni Michelle Dees, Chance Thomas Brown (A. J.), Amanda Hope Brown, Chasen Layne Brown, Christy Power (Drew), Staci Bennett, Abby Lester (Jason) and Blake Dees; and her siblings, Beth Wimberly (W. H.), Sue Cashwell and Gary Snipes (Pat).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Fairhaven Funeral Home (4989 Mt Pleasant Church Rd, Macon, GA 31216). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Fairhaven Funeral Home (4989 Mt Pleasant Church Rd, Macon, GA 31216). A burial will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at the Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery (7495 Knoxville Rd, Lizella, GA 31052).
