He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Walker Lasseter, Sr. and Daryl Tumlin Lasseter. He is survived by: his wife Kimberly Shuford Lasseter of Macon; his stepson Matthew Bryant; his sisters, Chris Peake of Nashville and June Meeks (Bill) of Milledgeville, Georgia; his siblings' children, Anne Fruetel (Jon), David Peake (Mary Beth), Daniel Peake (Niharika), Steven Peake (Carol Ann), John Peake (Caroline), Andrew Peake (Michelle), Matt Meeks (Katie), Sam Meeks (Taylor) and Macy Meeks; and his cousins, Laine Bolton, Lee Lasseter and Lyn Teal. He is also survived by twenty three great nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Hart's Mortuary (6324 Peake Rd, Macon, GA 31210).
