He was predeceased by: his parents, William Eli Ross and Elizabeth Corinne Little Ross; his wife Johnsie Mae Ross (McCallum); and his siblings, Bill Ross, Elizabeth Elkins, Ophelia Parks and June Cannon.
He is survived by: his sons, Gary Buffkin, Terry Ross (Danielle) and James Ross (Dawn); his grandchildren, Shayne Roe, James Nathaniel Ross, C. J. Ross and Sierra Ross; his great grandchild Leigha Smith; and his great great grandchildren, Kaleb Patat and Kody Smith. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
