He was predeceased by: his children, Cheryl White, John White, III and Allison White; and his parents, John Ashley White, Sr. and Agnes Ketterbaugh White of Virginia.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Stokes White; his son Scott White (Karen); his grandchildren, Kane White (Callie), Ashley White, Michelle Burch (Jonathon) and Aaron Tomberlin (Ryan McKinney); his great grandchildren, Palmer White and Murphy Tomerlin; his brothers, Bill White (Carolyn) and Ted White (Jewel); and his daughter-in-law Connie White. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
