He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Adolph Stewart, Sr. and Ella Willis Stewart; his wife Ann McElrath Stewart; and his brother Charles A. Stewart, Jr. of Augusta. He is survived by: his sons, Steve Stewart (Helen) of Macon and Cliff Stewart (Sandy) of Forsyth; his grandchildren, Walker Stewart (Tori), Elizabeth McCain (David), Andy Stewart, Katie Rabbe (Jeremy) and Bayne Stewart; his great grandchildren, Ella, Caroline, Charlie Stewart, Parker, Anna Clark McCain, Holden and Lucie Jane Rabbe; his niece Barbara Abair; and his nephew Charles Stewart, III.
