He is survived by: his wife JoAnne Snipes Dees; his children, John Gilbert Dees Jr. (Deborah), Andrea Bone (Harold) and Jeff Dees (Pamela); his siblings, Faye Knowles (Gene), Peggy Jo Carson (Chip) and Robert Dees; and his grandchildren, Jennifer Marie Nation (Thomas), Joni Michelle Dees, Chance Thomas Brown (A. J.), Amanda Hope Brown, Chasen Layne Brown, Christy Power (Drew), Staci Bennett Abby (Garrett) and Blake Dees. He is also survived by Eight great grandchildren.
