He was predeceased by: his father Clarence Edward. He is survived by: his wife Robbie A. Powell of Macon; his sons, Johnnie Powell Jr. (Cindy) and Jeffrey Powell (Marilyn); his grandchildren, Jay Powell (Elizabeth), Leanne Simpson (Elijah), Jamie Slaton, Meghan Reeves, Marshal Glass (Meghan), Rebecca Keene (Sean), Robert Glass (Kara), Bethany Collins (Coty) and Jeffrey Powell Jr. (Kaycee); his siblings, Betty Cooly (Larry), Joan Brooks (Larry), Marjorie Briggs (Tony) and Ronald Powell (Sheila); and his sister-in-law Kathleen Powell. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
