She was predeceased by: her parents, Wayne Steuerwald and Bernice Steuerwald. She is survived by: her son Erik Sauer (Tressie) of Denver, Colorado; and her grandchildren, Avery Jones, Caroline Jones, Ava Sauer and Ella Sauer. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
