We are sad to announce that, on May 22, 2026, at the age of 79, Kay Moody Duke (Macon, Georgia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Kay's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Kay has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Raymond Moody, Sr. and Josie Waddleton Moody; and her brother Randy Ayers Moody, Sr.. She is survived by: her husband Herbert "Herbie" Duke, Jr.; her children, Kelly Kim Duke of Macon and Kevin Tyler Duke of Macon; and her siblings, Raymond A. Moody, Jr. (Cheryl), Kim Moody Lanford (Rick) and Rodie Moody (LaDon). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
