He was predeceased by: his mother Marjorie Green Kennedy; his wife Jean Yawn; and his father Alton Kennedy. He is survived by: his children, Jena Kennedy (Byron Wells) and Joel Kennedy (Dawn); his grandchildren, Preston Kennedy, Ben Kennedy, Erin Wells (Andrew Smith), Justin Mullen (Valerie Avallone) and Mark Wells (Lizzie); and his great grandchildren, Matt Smith, Tyler Smith, Connor Smith and Peyton Smith.
