She is survived by: her husband Edward "Ed" Rekau; her daughters, Jennifer Tillery and Ashley Olson; her grandchildren, Emma, Steven, Colin, William and Zachary; and her siblings, Marsha Lee (Marlin), Beverly Doty and Robert Doty (Karen). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Snow's Memorial Chapel (1419 Bass Rd, Macon, GA 31210). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
