He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom Rodgers and Betty Rodgers; his brother Stanley; and his sister-in-law Brenda Rodgers. He is survived by: his wife Martha Rodgers; his children, Brandi Stevenson (Andrew), Michael Rodgers (Marilyn) and Mike Phillips (Rachel); his siblings, Tommie Weeks (Johnny), Wanda Clance and Bill Rodgers (Donita); his grandchildren, Gavin Angelo, Lexi Morgan (Hunter), Tyler Phillips, Holly Phillips and Courtney Brown (Caleb); and his great grandchildren, Leland and Addi Kate. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lizella Baptist Church (2950 S Lizella Rd, Lizella, GA 31052). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Lizella Baptist Church Cemetery (2950 S Lizella Rd, Lizella, GA 31052).
