He was predeceased by: his parents, John Willis Simmons and Frances Jewell McDaniel Simmons; and his siblings, Roy Simmons, Wilbur Simmons and Carol Bloodworth.
He is survived by: his son Dustin; his daughter-in-law Danielle Simmons of Macon, GA; his granddaughter Adilyn Simmons; and his siblings, Ricky Simmons (Christy), Floyd Simmons, Phil Simmons (Robin), Lula Mae Simmons, Mary Frances Arnold, Connie McCord (Tony) and Fannie Cleveland (Carl). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and extended family.
