He is survived by: his wife Kathy Dover Smallwood of Macon; his daughters, Amy Garvin (Matt) of Macon and Kelly Collins (Will) of Macon; his granddaughters, Matilyn Garvin of Auburn, AL, Colleen Garvin of Macon, Ansley Garvin of Macon, Sydney Collins of Macon, Libby Collins of Macon and Milly Collins of Macon; and his brother Mike Smallwood (Sharon) of Macon. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
The family will greet friends on Thursday, March 12, 2026 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Flowers are accepted or donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 140 A, Northside Drive, Macon GA 31210 or donors' favorite charity.
