He was predeceased by: his parents, I. D. Dixon and Effie Combs Dixon. He is survived by: his wife Bobbie J. Dixon; his sons, Michael D. Dixon (Roberta Hollis), David L. Dixon (Jacqueline K. Reitzell) and Roger G. Dixon; his grandchildren, Allee Avery (Joseph), Christopher M. Dixon (Laura), Allison L. Dixon, Kelly A., Alexandra C. Dixon (Alexander Barnhart) and Jeremy S. Dixon; his great grandchildren, Madilyn Avery, Ronald Simons III, Cooper Avery, McKinley Simons, William Avery, Arden Dixon and Eleanor Barnhart; and his siblings, Carlen "Pete" Dixon (Glenna) of Hazard, Kentucky and Nancy Dixon Harvey of Hamilton, Ohio. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
