He is survived by: his wife Ouida Simmons; and his children, Shannon Barnes (Michael), Reoche Barfield (Jerry), Macey Simmons Williams (Ted, Jr.), Javaughu Thompson (Avery) and Jerome Parks, Jr. (Kenya). He is also survived by grandchildren; great grandchildren, and other relatives and friends.
