She was predeceased by: her husband Gene Clance; her parents, Frank Hudgens and Dorothy Hudgens; and her brothers, James Hudgens and Frank Hudgens.

She is survived by: her daughters, Kathy Freeman (Richie) of Warner Robins and Jennifer Carter (Jim) of Valdosta, Georgia.; her grandchild Madison Carlo (Seth); her great grandchildren, James Beckett, Joe and Jack; her granddaughter Abigail Harrell (Matt); her great grandchild Molly of Valdosta, Georgia; her grandchild Clancey Grace Carter of Valdosta, Georgia; and her siblings, Lee Hudgens, Gary Hudgens, Sherry Helton and Betty Tipton.

Visitation was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Hart's (6324 Peake Rd, Macon, GA 31210). A memorial service was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
