He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Bettina Guthrie Layfield of Macon; his sons, Bradley Layfield (Janelle) of Seattle, WA. and Addison Layfield (Caitlin) of Cumming, GA; his grandchildren, Grayson, Aubrey, Mercer and Sutton; his mother Ruth Lois Collier Layfield (Eugene Layfield); and his brothers, David Layfield (Lucy) of Oglethorpe, Fred Layfield (Jane) of Alpharetta and Greg "Kim" Layfield (Paula) of Macon.
