She was predeceased by: her parents, John Dorough Sr. and Sammye Farrow Dorough; her husband James Herman Morton, Jr.; and her brother John Dorough, Jr.. She is survived by: her sons, Daryl James Morton (Amy) of Macon and Daniel Thomas Morton (Ginger) of Macon; her sister June Hamilton of Cordele; her grandchildren, Ashleigh Morton, Alex Morton, Tyler Newton (Mamie) and Matthew Newton (Lindsey); and her great grandchild Julia Grace.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to the Miracle League of Macon.
