Though Melville E. may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Melville E. touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Johnson King of Macon; his daughter Melody King Ellis (Jeff) of Macon; and his grandchildren, Hunter Ellis of Fayetteville and Macy Ellis of Atlanta, Georgia.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hart's Mortuary (6324 Peake Rd, Macon, GA 31210). A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Grove Hill Cemetery (458 Mt Eden Rd, Shelbyville, KY 40065).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the donor's favorite charity.
