With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Melvin Quillian Douglas Jr. of Macon, Georgia, who passed away on February 21, 2024 at the age of 55. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Q. Douglas, Sr. and Eunice Marie Blackwell Douglas; and his brothers, Lamar Blackwell and George Goodwin. He is survived by: his wife Becky Andrews Douglas; his daughter Karly Douglas (Justin Browning); his pets, Zuri and Bandit; his siblings, Debra Merritt, Bob Goodwin, Darla Shoemaker, Donna Powers and Jada Douglas; and his mother-in-law Laverne Pittman. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family graciously requests donations be made in Melvin's honor to: Karly Douglas for her college tuition, 3217 Marie Circle, Macon, Georgia 31216.
