It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Melvin Thomas Robinson of Macon, Georgia, born in Elwood, Indiana, who passed away on March 1, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Floyd Robinson and Edith Robinson (Patton); his wife Carolyn Sue Robinson; his children, Candace Robinson, Kathryn Staley and Stephen McGahey; his grandson Jay Chrisman Jr.; and his siblings, Gene Robinson, Fred Robinson, Loren Robinson and Judy McGinnis.

He is survived by : his daughters, Melinda Chrisman (Jay) of Greenwood, Kimberly Vannatta (Brad) of Frankton and Tammy Blann (Brian) of Macon, GA; his sister Rosetta Beals of Tipton; his daughter-in-law Jennifer McGahey of Elwood; his sister-in-law Mary Robinson of Tipton; and his pet Chloe. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be given to New Providence Baptist Church or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
