She is survived by: her husband Emory Shaw Jiles Jr.; her children, Deborah Elaine (Jiles), Giannattasio (Ralph), Julie Elizabeth (Jiles), Sowell (Kerry), Emory Shaw Jiles III and David Neal Jiles (Paula); her grandchildren, Kevin Leslie (Jessica), Chris Leslie, Kati Black (Chris), Justin Sowell (Kelly), Adrien Page (Scott), Christopher Thompson, Rachel Giannattasio, Brenden Jiles (Abbie), Bradley Jiles (Holly), Madison Jiles and Mallory Jiles; and her siblings, Clara Louise Brooks and Clyde Lamar O'Neal Jr.. She is also survived by her twelve great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Sardis-Heard Funeral Home (6125 Houston Rd, Macon, GA 31216). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
