She was predeceased by: her mother Iris Mosley Brooks of Macon, GA.. She is survived by: her daughter Dr. Tammy Blackmon (Zalmon); her grandsons, Dr. Javon Blackmon and Chancellor Blackmon; her sister Carrol Penn (Tommy); her niece Dr. Akilah Heggs; and her great-nephews, Brandon Davis and Boston Lee. She is also survived by other loving relatives, extended family, and close friends.
