She was predeceased by: her parents, Preston Bussey Childs and Essie Lou Jones Childs; and her former husband Dr. L. E. Brown. She is survived by: her children, Melanie Brown Ketchum (Daniel) of Tulsa, OK, Catherine Brown Tucker (Jeff) of Atlanta and Anthony "Tony" Edward Brown of Silver Springs, MD.; and her husband Donald J. Cornett. She is also survived by her three children, her nine grandchildren, and her six great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association or Vineville United Methodist Church.
