She was predeceased by: her parents, James Thomas Hencley, Sr. and Alma Louise Holloway Hencley; her siblings, James T. Hencley, Mary Lucille Bedenbaugh and William Franklin Hencley; and her son Gerald "Jerry" Nathaniel McDaniel.
She is survived by: her children, Robert W. Tarpley of Ocala, Virgil D. Allen (Betty) of Clarksville, Virginia and Ann Cramer of Townsville; and her sister-in-law Nellie Hencley (Georgia) of Byron. She is also survived by five grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; eight great-great grandchildren.
