It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Peggy McDonald Matthews of Macon, Georgia, born in Jackson, Georgia, who passed away on March 7, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parent Redge McDonald; her brothers, Larry, Dennis, Jack, Jerry and Bobby McDonald; her children, Jimmy Huntsinger and Candy Freeman Peterson; and her granddaughter Amelia "Mimi" Huntsinger.

She is survived by : her granddaughters, Autumn Harvell (Charles) and Lacey Bell; her great grandchildren, CJ Harvell and Lennon Dobson; her sister-in-law Scarlett McDonald; and her friends, Patricia Alrid, Louise Hogan, Melissa and Chuck Harvell. She is also survived by daughter in law.
