It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phil Johnson of Macon, Georgia, born in Griffin, Georgia, who passed away on August 8, 2022, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Phil Morris Johnson, Sr. and Betty Rose Ragsdale Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Paige Johnson of Swainsboro; his children, Kelley, Jason Poston of Zebulon, Grant, Dot Johnson of Pike County, Ben and Misty Johnson of Macon; his grandchildren, Peyton Johnson, Nolan Poston, Emma Grace Johnson and Cohen Johnson; his siblings, Dennis Johnson of Yatesville and Christy; and his brother-in-law Chris Freeman of Blairsville. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and close friends.
