Though Phillip may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Phillip leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alonzo Mercer and Adell Everidge Mercer; and his sister Kay Plunkett. He is survived by: his girlfriend Janice Tolbert; his sons, Phillip Mercer, Jr. (Amanda) of Gray and Andy Mercer (Kellan) of Gray; and his siblings, Bruce Mercer (Tim Mercer) of Macon and Charlene Johnson of Florida. He is also survived by five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
