She is survived by : her child De'Erhoyl Johnson (Erik); her husband Bobby Gene Edwards; her children, Shanosty Bivins (Shay) and Erik Johnson; her grandchild Noonk Noonk-Casey Burke (Nicholas); her grandmother Precious-Kennedi Edwards (Munchkin-Kelanie Edwards); her mother-in-law Annie C. Edwards; her siblings, La'Verne Bivins Hill (James), JoAnne Bivins Dillard (Oscar), Curtis Bivins (Sandra), Ronnie Bivins (Carolyn), Karen Bivins Hollis (George), Maverick Bivins (Pamela) and Deborah Stevenson (Mobley); her sisters-in-law, Tereasa Billingslea (Randy), Antoinette Rhymes (Gregory) and Parissa Bivins; her pet Bella; and also Grenada "Chante" Edwards. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Viewing was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Russell Funeral Home (822 Carl Russell Ave, Winston-Salem, NC 27101). Visitation was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the World Outreach Center (3683 Old Lexington Rd, Winston-Salem, NC 27107). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Lizzie Chapel Baptist Church (1180 Bartlett St, Macon, GA 31204).
