She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Mitchell Ard and Jim Ard; her husband Thomas Gossett; her siblings, Frances McDaniel, James Gresham, Artis Ard and Jack Ard; and her children, Carl Daniel Gossett, Dorothy Stanovich and Andrew Jeffrey Gossett.
She is survived by: her children, Sherry G. Garza (Bob) of Monroe County and William Berry Gossett (Elaine) of Monroe County; her sister MaryAnne Garrett (Sonny) of Dahlonega, GA; her grandchildren, Amanda Holloway (Jeff) of Monticello, Zachary Gossett (Ansleigh) of Monroe County, Melissa Jones (Michael) of Byron, Brandi Byron (Will) of Macon and Cory Gossett of Macon; and her stepgrandchildren, Bobby Garza (Erin) of Winchester, VA, Stephanie Bonaparte (Mark) of Ogdensburg, NJ, Lisa Werdann (Vinny) of Ordensburg, NJ and John Garza (Katie) of Blairstown, NJ. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
