He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Raymond C. Smith, Sr. and Ruth Davis Smith; his granddaughter Lindy Waddell; his wife Suzann; his sons, Clay Waddell (Ansley) and Bart Smith (Elizabeth); his sister Susan Smith Jones (Girard); and his granddaughters, Hannah Waddell and Hayes Waddell. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
